HEATHROW COUNTRY CLUB seeks an experienced Aquatic Lessons Coach to lead our summer swim program.
About the RoleThe coach will teach swim lessons, maintain records, and perform facility maintenance, working closely with the Aquatics Director.
Essential Responsibilities- Maintain accurate attendance records and course documentation.
- Conduct swimming lessons, adapting instruction to meet participant needs.
- Perform routine facility maintenance, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Communicate effectively with participants and patrons, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Complete incident reports as needed, adhering to established protocols.
- May be required to serve as a lifeguard, holding current certification.
- Must be at least 18 years old at hire.
- Must swim 100 yards continuously.
- Must possess WSI certification within 1 month of hire, maintaining it throughout employment.
- Must have a working phone and email for contact purposes.
The coach will work in a fast-paced aquatic environment, requiring attention to detail, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
