About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work in a government agency, gaining valuable experience and skills that will set you up for success in your career. You'll be exposed to various facets of our portfolio, working closely with experienced professionals who will guide and support you every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed budgets and costings for projects, initiatives, and business units.
- Interpret accounting standards and provide financial analysis and reporting.
- Write briefs, including senate estimates and updates to internal policies and guidelines.
- Detailed account reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist in procurement activities, including interpretation of procurement guidelines.
- Problem-solving, conducting process mapping, and suggesting improvements.

Eligibility Criteria

- Be prepared to obtain and maintain baseline security clearance.
