About the Faculty
The Faculty of Education at Southern Cross University is a diverse, passionate, and dynamic community dedicated to driving educational change through teaching, research, and service. Our faculty offers programs in Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, and Higher Education, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Lecturer in Education - Primary English to contribute to our faculty's mission by providing student-centered teaching practices and curriculum development in Primary and early years English.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality teaching, educational design, and delivery in line with university policies and guidelines
- Leading teaching and learning initiatives at the Senior Lecturer level and enhancing the student learning experience through a learning-centred approach
- Contribute to innovative curriculum development and engage in the scholarship of teaching to inform and improve teaching practices
To be successful in this role, you will have a PhD or Professional Doctorate in Education, Primary/Early Years English, or a relevant discipline, along with an appropriate teaching qualification in Primary Education.
