Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to fill the role of Yard Laborer. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in our yard, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

This position will involve assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment, operating basic yard machinery such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the yard and storage areas, supporting inventory management by conducting stock checks and reporting discrepancies, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on yard equipment as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience in a steel and mesh or similar role is preferred but not required. Additionally, the candidate should possess the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in an outdoor environment, have a basic understanding of yard operations and equipment, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

The selected candidate will also need to possess a forklift license and be committed to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
  • Operate basic yard machinery such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and storage areas.
  • Support inventory management by conducting stock checks and reporting discrepancies.

Requirements
