About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Safety Adviser to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring site safety across various infrastructure projects, including transportation upgrades in SE QLD.
Key Responsibilities:- Implementing and enforcing site safety protocols
- Conducting regular safety inspections
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive safety management systems (SWMS)
- Providing training and inductions to site personnel
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail sector. A thorough understanding of WHS legislation and regulations is essential.
