Global Payments Payroll Analyst Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst to support our payroll processes across multiple regions. In this role, you'll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, prepare essential reports, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our payroll operations.
The successful candidate will partner with the ANZ People & Culture team and work closely with the APAC Payroll team to manage payroll processing for employees in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes ensuring timely and accurate preparation of periodic payroll reports and consolidating data as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing payroll processing for employees in the Asia-Pacific region;
- Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of periodic payroll reports;
- Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure compliance;
- Overseeing and monitoring superannuation and tax processes;
- Preparing payroll month-end reports for accounting and auditing purposes;
- Providing necessary data and documentation during audit periods;
- Handling ad hoc reports and special projects as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll requirements;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Google Forms. Experience with Dayforce is a plus;
- Strong communication skills; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage;
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues effectively;
- Ability to escalate issues when necessary, maintaining proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven work habits;
- Team-oriented with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy.
