Job Description

As our High-Tech Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the Wärtsilä ITP (inspection and test plan) for the project and ensuring its compliance with prevailing standards and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinating quality inspections and related procedures, including methods of inspection and method statements.
  • Reporting and processing non-conformities from the jobsite, working closely with site team members and stakeholders.
  • Participating in handling contractual punch lists/open items lists for project delivery as required.
  • Communicating and supporting subcontractors and vendors on non-conformities and deviating quality issues.

In addition, you will be responsible for communicating and supporting internal stakeholders, including supplies and engineering teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering or a similar field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • An engaging and collaborative way of working with people.
  • A background in project quality is highly desirable.
  • The ability to take ownership of tasks and bring issues to resolution.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, extending beyond your own team.
  • A continuous improvement-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable with traveling.
