Regional Physiotherapist Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, delivering care across a wide spectrum of clinical settings. As a regional physiotherapist you will be involved in treating patients in various settings including hospitals and community clinics.

About the Role

As a generalist physiotherapy role, you will treat a diverse caseload across different settings. This includes working with patients with a wide range of medical conditions and providing rehabilitation services to support their recovery.

Key Areas of Practice:
  • Inpatient general medical and orthopaedic caseloads where you will provide hands on treatment to patients with musculoskeletal issues.
  • Community-based outpatient clinics where you will see patients in a clinic setting and provide treatment plans for ongoing care.
  • Group rehab programs - orthopaedics and falls & balance where you will lead group sessions to help patients improve their mobility and prevent falls.
  • Residential aged care assessments and reviews where you will assess patients' needs and develop care plans to support them.
  • Supervision and delegation to Allied Health Assistants where you will supervise and mentor junior staff members.
  • Occasional sole practitioner responsibilities where you will work independently to manage patient caseloads.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist is essential.
  • Tertiary qualification as a Physiotherapist is necessary.
  • A full driver's licence is required for travel between locations.
  • A police check and Working With Children Check are mandatory.
  • An up-to-date immunisation history and/or serology is required.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience and communication skills are essential.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting is required.
