The Role:

We are partnering with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd to offer School-based Traineeships for Year 10 students. As a trainee, you will work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations while gaining hands-on experience in a Reece branch. This traineeship will involve working in a Reece branch as well as completing certificate requirements, such as workbooks and on-the-job training and assessments.

This position is based at Plumbing Marsden Park. As a trainee, you will be responsible for:

  • Embracing the Reece values, policies, and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Completing all requirements of the certificate
  • Processing sales
  • Managing stock
  • Answering the phone to take messages and orders
  • Communicating with customers and staff
  • Building product knowledge
  • Providing follow-up to customers
  • Contributing to maintaining the branch at a high standard

As a trainee, you will be required to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week. Must have Saturday availability. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to assist in your progress.
