Salary Package

We offer a competitive salary that reflects your skills and experience, estimated at $90,000 - $110,000 per annum. In addition, you'll have access to generous salary packaging options, allowing you to reduce your taxable income and take home more money.

Job Description

We're seeking a passionate and caring Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Therapy & Clinical Services Team. As an Autism Specialist Therapist, you will work closely with autistic individuals, their families, and other stakeholders to deliver person-centred services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a broad range of therapy services to a diverse caseload
  • Clinical assessment and development of individual therapy plans
  • Completing Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Working as an Occupational Therapist within a key worker model, providing both direct and consultative supports to individuals with autism and their families
  • Providing consultation and education to families and key stakeholders to support inclusion and participation across a range of settings
  • Completing clinical assessment and developing individual therapy plans across a range of skill areas such as fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
  • Leading specialised group therapy programs

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Registration with AHPRA
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with children and/or adults with disability and their families is desirable
