Exercise Physiologist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Tamara Private Hospital. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for the assessment and prescription of exercises for patients in our day rehabilitation and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy in individualised, group and hydrotherapy settings
- Work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Degree in Exercise Physiology (or equivalent)
- Current Accreditation with ESSA
- Registration with SIRA (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of 1 years' experience working as an Exercise Physiologist
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High standard of customer service and a team approach
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice
- Understanding of quality improvement principles
- Flexible, positive approach to work
- Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting (desirable)
