Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine service maintenance and repairs on centrifugal and screw chillers, as well as other mechanical equipment in central plants.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC large tonnage field knowledge, with a strong background in performing chiller preventive maintenance services. They should also possess excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly when it comes to chiller control panels and routine mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine chiller preventive maintenance services
  • Troubleshoot chiller control panels and routine mechanical and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and colleagues to complete duties
  • Provide technical support/service to customers
  • Manage two-hour rule and communicate with Dispatcher and customers when approaching maximum trouble shoot time
  • Ensure compliance for safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all quotes provided to customers are followed up on

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Extensive HVAC large tonnage field knowledge with minimum 3-5 years' service field experience
  • OEM Experience or Factory Training is a plus
  • Strong background performing centrifugal chiller overhaul services
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities effectively
