External Auditor Role

Award-winning Audit team has an exciting opportunity for a skilled External Auditor to join their Sydney office. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in external auditing, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to management. You will be passionate about being at the forefront of change, able to think laterally, and have the energy to build on our team culture, which centres around professional development and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead audit engagements in consultation with senior managers and partners while ensuring compliance with auditing methodologies.
  • Client and team management
  • Support in general Risk Management matters
  • Developing proactive solutions to IFRS and ISA technical matters
  • Support partners and directors with the firm's growth strategy
Requirements:
  • CA, CPA, ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree
  • Ideal 5+ years of experience as an external auditor
  • Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS)
  • Understanding of CAAT's and their role in an audit strategy
  • Experience with ASX listed entities and large private groups
