We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at George Forbes House in Queanbeyan, providing high-quality care to residents with dementia.
Job DescriptionThis permanent part-time position involves delivering individualised care plans and promoting a culture of compassion and respect. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and provide exceptional clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and smooth handovers.
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to carers and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in a clinical leadership role or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Familiarity with dementia care principles and practices.
