About This Position

  • This role involves providing education and care for children enrolled at the Service, aligning with our philosophy and curriculum, and adhering to the National Quality Framework requirements.
  • Educators collaborate with colleagues, Room Leaders, the Educational Leader, and the Nominated Supervisor.

Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators

  • Support the Centre's vision and uphold Biblical values.
  • Teach Biblical truths and engage in open discussions about the Christian faith with children.
  • Participate in prayers with colleagues for the Centre's needs.

Personal Faith Commitment and Professional Development

">
  • Regularly attend a Christian church and engage in Bible study and fellowship.
  • Maintain confidentiality when dealing with Centre matters.
  • Model the fruit of the Spirit in daily life, as described in Galatians 5:22-23.
  • Participate in regular staff evaluations focusing on personal, spiritual, and professional growth.

Education and Care of Children

  • Prioritize the best interests of each child.
  • Cultivate a high-quality education and care curriculum for all enrolled children.
  • Design engaging learning experiences catering to individual needs and preferences.
