Mortgage Loan Processor Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at Itechpost. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will be responsible for processing complex loan packages and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a pipeline of 40-60 loans on a daily and weekly basis.
  2. Process loans from application to closing, including collecting and analyzing documents, communicating with clients, and maintaining daily workflow prioritization.
  3. Order verifications, documentation, and follow-ups, and ensure all timeframes and compliance requirements are met.
  4. Verify conditions of approval, resolve title issues, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  5. Review and analyze all necessary documentation, including borrower docs and third-party docs.
  6. Interpret policies and analyze applicant information, property, and documentation.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience in Financial Services with Loan Processing experience preferred.
  2. Knowledge of processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  4. Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
  5. Able to prioritize multiple competing tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Problem-solver with strong analytical skills.
  7. Adheres to directives, procedures, and standards.
  8. Ability to work in a paperless environment.
  9. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Product Suite.
