Position Overview:

Crane Operator and Tradesman

This role is casual, requiring work six days a week, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:45 PM, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Compensation: $42 per hour plus superannuation and applicable penalties.

Qualified tradespeople with a CN license may have the opportunity for negotiable pay rates.

Work Location:

Ideal candidates should be situated in the Albury/Wodonga area, as transportation to the worksite will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilization of basic power and hand tools.
  2. Support in piling dispatch, lifting, and relocating materials on-site, including loading and unloading trucks.
  3. Engagement in manual labor tasks such as carrying and moving materials.
  4. Assistance with site setup and cleanup activities.
Qualifications:
  1. Valid HRWL CN 'Non-slewing Crane' or Class C0, C1, C6, or C2 'Slewing Crane Class Certificate'.
  2. Class 3 Trade qualified Forklift Operator with a valid Forklift Licence HRWL LF.
  3. Current Telehandler VOC or willingness to obtain one.
  4. Possession of a construction induction card (White Card).
  5. Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  6. Able to lift up to 20 kg.
  7. Current driver's license.
  8. Valid white card; if lost, please contact Safework NSW for a replacement.
  9. Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
