About the Role:

AWS is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating high-reach forklifts, performing quality inspections, and handling loading and unloading of general freight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate high-reach forklifts with precision and attention to detail
  • Conduct quality inspections on goods to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Load and unload general freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Engage in manual handling tasks to maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • High Risk LF Forklift License
  • At least 6 months of recent forklift operating experience
  • Strong physical fitness and core strength
  • Experience in a demanding, high-volume work setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs
  • Enthusiasm for learning and advancing within the company
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting
  • Comfort working in cold storage environments
