About the Role

As a Care Assistant with Silver Chain, you will be responsible for providing personal care and domestic support to clients in their homes. Your duties may include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Cleaning and maintaining client homes
  • Providing companionship and emotional support

You will work independently but be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and open communication.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for caregiving and making a difference in people's lives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • A current Australian driver's license and access to a registered vehicle (for some roles)
  • The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays
