About the Role

Estia Health is seeking an experienced Care Director to cover a Maternity Leave position. This is a Fixed Term Full Time role, working Monday to Friday, office hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the care team to improve the wellbeing of residents, fostering strong relationships with their families.
  • Train and develop the next generation of carers and nurses, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
  • Oversee the clinical operations, including stock management, compliance, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement clinical care programs, driving excellence in resident care.
  • Contribute to the financial management of the home, ensuring effective budgeting and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • A registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a nursing management role, at ward level or above.
  • Proven experience in managing people and budgets.
  • A background in aged care, with a passion for delivering exceptional resident outcomes.
