Water Resource Team Lead: Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to lead our team in NSW, delivering innovative solutions to local & state government and private sector clients.
About the OpportunityAs a member of KBR's Water Resources team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of challenging projects. You will contribute to the success of KBR's National Water Resources team by leading and growing (in terms of capacity and technical capability) the NSW Water Resources team.
You will conduct a range of water resources projects including hydrological and hydraulic investigation and design for studies such as rural and urban flood studies, transport and mine infrastructure, floodplain management, water balance modelling, stormwater management and mine water management.
You will produce technical models and reports to a high standard, contributing to KBR's reputation for delivering quality project outputs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and grow the NSW Water Resources team
- Conduct water resources projects including hydrological and hydraulic investigation and design
- Produce technical models and reports to a high standard
- Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 10 – 15 years' local experience on Water Resources projects
- Numerical modelling experience including TUFLOW, RORB, XP-RAFTS, HEC-RAS, MUSIC, GOLDSIM and GIS applications
- Bid budgets, proposal writing and business development experience highly regarded
- Federal, state and local legislation knowledge and application experience
- Chartered professional engineer (CPEng) status or ability to achieve this within 6 months

We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, reflecting your skills and experience.
