Asset Protection and Security Services Manager

The RoleWe're looking for an exceptional Asset Protection and Security Services Manager to lead our team in providing top-notch security services and asset protection in Sydney. This is a key role that requires collaboration with cross-functional teams both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Metrics and Performance Improvement: Develop and track key performance indicators to ensure timely achievement of desired outcomes.
- Sarbanes Oxley Compliance: Ensure internal controls related to area are met as per SOX requirements.
- Investigations and Interviews: Assist in investigations of internal and external theft and fraud, and conduct interviews when necessary.
- Team Performance Excellence: Foster a culture of high performance among security services team members.
- Vision and Values Alignment: Clearly articulate and align performance and actions with the organization's vision and values.
- Objectives and Security Model: Meet or surpass objectives aligned with the security service model.
- Security Best Practices: Identify, promote, and implement best practices in designated Fulfillment Centers.
- Liaison and Expertise: Serve as departmental liaison and security subject matter expert for facility management.
- Process Improvements: Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Partnerships: Effectively partner with internal customers to evaluate current and future security services, processes, and initiatives, and coordinate data collection and analysis.
- Education: Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Relevant professional experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, military service, supply chain, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, quality assurance, or other related fields.
- Skills: Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel; strong oral and written communication skills (English); knowledge and application of physical security systems; experience managing multiple projects concurrently; ability to work independently with off-site supervision; and ability to travel both domestically and internationally (intermittently).
- Advanced Education: Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) qualified.
- Investigation Experience: Experience in conducting investigations (fraud/theft, etc.).
- Certification in Investigation Procedures: Certification in formal investigation procedures (Wicklander-Zulawski or P.E.A.C.E.).
- Databases and Lean/Six Sigma: Familiarity with databases (for querying and analyzing), such as SQL, Access, etc., and Lean, Six Sigma concepts desirable.
- Analytical Experience: Analytical experience in a performance-based, results-oriented setting.
- Business Continuity Management: Experience in Business Continuity Management and basic Crisis Management.
