Personal Care Assistant

This is an opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment where care goes both ways.

  • We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to assist with personal care, day-to-day tasks, and support the clinical team in ensuring care plans are followed.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent), be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people, and demonstrate a kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.

The role involves assisting residents with showering and dressing, supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities, working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed, maintaining documentation, and providing high quality service to families and the community.

As part of a dedicated team who work hard to create a safe, home-like environment, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
  • Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
  • Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents' health and wellbeing are optimised
  • Providing high quality service to families and the community
Requirements
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • A reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
