**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Retail Leadership Professional to lead our retail team in Melbourne.
This role reports to the Head of Retail and is responsible for the effective management and day-to-day operations of all aspects of a retail boutique in Armadale and our concession space in the Melbourne CBD.
The successful candidate will have a focus on teaming and training, driving sales and elevating the customer experience through outstanding in-store and omni-channel service.
About This Role:
Key responsibilities include delivering monthly and annual retail and online targets, ensuring each store is set up to succeed and to consistently achieve positive results.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the New Zealand Regional Retail Manager as well as New Zealand-based peers within E-commerce/Digital, Merchandise Planning, Marketing, Design and Supply Chain to work towards the best possible outcomes for the Australian operation.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the retail teams through ongoing support via regular team meetings, one-on-one goal setting and seasonal product training sessions to ultimately ensure each team member feels supported to achieve in their roles.
They will also manage all hiring and rostering ensuring adequate cover is provided in each store/space.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver the numbers
- Ensure all online channels are being supported through timely and accurate fulfilment from the online hub and serviced via omni-channel methods
- Work closely with NZ Regional Retail Manager and other stakeholders to drive business results
- Lead the team
- Manage all hiring and rostering
- Provide outstanding customer experiences
- Train and support the team to provide professional in-store experiences
- Drive efficient store operations
- Take ownership of seasonal and launch operations for retail aligned to the annual retail calendar
- Ensure store aesthetics and environments are consistently maintained to the highest standard
- Ensure stock accuracy across both stores and online platforms
What You'll Bring:
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar retail leadership role
- Prior experience leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent sales and clienteling skills in a luxury or premium environment
- Ability to deliver against sales targets
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
