Key Responsibilities- Assist with the injury and claims management process, ensuring compliance with Return to Work (RTW) obligations in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013.
- Promote the vision of health and wellbeing of employees, specifically with regard to injury and claims compliance and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and contribute to the development, update, and maintenance of WHS systems, policies, and procedures, and manage the upload of these documents in line with document and data control requirements.
- Provide administrative support in relation to the WHS portfolio, including taking minutes, maintaining records, preparing management and executive reports, and facilitating supplier relationships.
- Prepare an annual safety calendar with safety events and safety acknowledgements, in consultation with communications.
- Demonstrated WHS experience or relevant WHS qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement wellbeing initiatives.
- Ability to use MS Office programs and web-based information systems proficiently.
- Good written and report writing skills.
- High-level interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus and capacity to follow tasks through to completion.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships and communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
