About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at the State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent to support our mission to transform lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the needs of our agency
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop job postings
  • Source and attract top candidates through various channels, including professional networks and job boards
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and ensure timely and efficient processing of applications
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to identify the most qualified candidates
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote our agency and attract top talent

Requirements

  • One year of professional recruiting experience in a high-volume, high-tempo environment
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience creating professional advertisements, such as marketing materials or job announcements
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or a related field
  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and/or professional Human Resources experience
  • Ability to work remotely and reside within the state of Washington
