Project Financial Manager Opportunity

This senior accounting role involves providing management and cost accounting for a major infrastructure project in Melbourne. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial team and wider project team to deliver accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and apply project cost coding structures for all costs incurred
  • Manage accrual processes, prepare journals for project accruals, and submit progress claims to clients
  • Provide detailed forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis
  • Ensure robust financial reporting across the project delivery team
  • Manage project bank accounts
  • Support project management teams with finance-related tasks
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in accounting or a related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
  • CPA or CA qualification is highly regarded
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is beneficial
