Technical Sales Specialist - Accelerate Answers

This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate answers and make a real difference within life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will thrive in a culture of belonging where your unique viewpoint matters.

You'll be responsible for driving sales growth targets for research flow cytometry instruments and reagents in Australia and New Zealand. This involves developing and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, understanding their technical and application needs, and matching those needs with the sales of appropriate equipment.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to develop and implement a territory business plan with clear strategies to meet and exceed sales quotas. You'll achieve company financial objectives through sales and market development, as well as leverage marketing initiatives.

Your responsibilities will also include submitting timely forecasts and reports, collaborating with leadership and marketing teams to identify trends and growth opportunities, building strong relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers, and staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

This role requires at least 3 years of proven experience in strategic sales within the flow cytometry market, with direct engagement with key opinion leaders and influential figures in the scientific community. You'll need to demonstrate a proven ability to consistently achieve ambitious goals, execute strategic initiatives, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration and results-driven change.

A Science degree (or equivalent) and practical flow cytometry experience are essential requirements for this role. You'll also need skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with excellent written and spoken English.
