  • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Melbourne, FL.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Support Guides, Work Instructions, High-Level Diagrams, Low-Level Diagrams, Specification Sheets, and Process Documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and product managers to gather and understand technical requirements.
  • Create visual aids like diagrams, flowcharts, and screenshots to enhance documentation clarity.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with company style guides and quality standards.
  • Participate in product development and testing cycles to gain in-depth product knowledge.
  • Manage a documentation repository and version control systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence).
  • Experience with diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
