Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and proactive cleaner to work in Devonport Dockyard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, including the general cleaning of office and welfare areas, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning of washrooms and kitchen areas, litter picking and waste removal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
  • Clean and sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and furniture.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners as needed.
  • Perform other cleaning tasks as required by management.

You will be working with other team members. Excellent attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A customer-focused approach and a proactive attitude to work.
  • Ability to follow process instructions from management.
  • Full driving licence desirable.
Benefits:

Training and full uniform provided.

30 hours over 4 days per week, with 4 on 4 off shift rotation.

15:00hrs – 23:00hrs daily.

30-minute unpaid break.
