Join Our Team as a Bushland Regeneration Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work with our well-established bushland regeneration crew, predominantly throughout the Geelong and surrounding coastal regions.

As a Bushland Regeneration Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a cohesive and rewarding team environment, offering above award pay and a chance to make a real difference in the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of bushland regeneration projects
  • Conduct fieldwork, including vegetation surveys and monitoring
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of natural resource management, conservation, and sustainability

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest and capability in natural resource management, conservation, and sustainability
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
  • A willingness to work in all weather conditions
  • Agricultural chemical users permit - ACUP
  • First Aid-Level 2
  • Knowledge of indigenous flora

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Conservation and Land management, Natural resource management or relevant work experience
  • Experience using Herbicides
  • Experience managing pest animals i.e. rabbit control
  • Experience of managing invasive species
  • A current Victorian manual drivers licence
