Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bioprocess Scientist II to join our team. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality biopharmaceutical solutions and process intermediates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense raw materials and prepare media and buffer solutions in accordance with established protocols.
  • Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and validation protocols to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new procedures and equipment, and propose corrective and preventive actions to improve process quality.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and colleagues to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with cGMP and EH&S requirements.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary education in a science or engineering-based field, or relevant proven experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP and quality systems, as well as relevant process unit operations.
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and planning skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
