Our Medical Centre in Queenstown is seeking an experienced Rural GP VMO to join our team. As a Rural GP VMO, you will work alongside a highly experienced GP/VMO and have the opportunity to supplement your income by providing on-call services to the hospital.

The practice has a full-time CDM trained Registered Nurse, administration staff, and a number of visiting Allied Health professionals and ancillary services. You will also have access to a well-equipped and purpose-built practice facility, adjacent to the Queenstown Hospital and aged care facility.

We offer a range of benefits, including a $10,000 start-up incentive, a generous daily VMO on-call rate, and a $400k target earning with accommodation and a car provided. You will also have the opportunity to work in a DPA location, eligible for RVTS and ACRRM independent pathway or RGTS.

Our doctors have full autonomy and flexible working arrangements, with the option to work part-time or full-time to best support their lifestyle. We also provide our doctors with a range of benefits, including a free gym and golf memberships.

Queenstown is a unique and beautiful location, with a population of around 1800 and a range of outdoor activities and attractions. The town is just under a 3 hour journey from the closest airport, and has a range of amenities and services.
