
Records Management Director

**Job Overview**
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with records management practices across the organization. This includes developing and implementing record management capabilities, maintaining procedures, training staff, and providing input/advice into projects.
They will also lead the development of a risk appetite for return to records management and collaborate with various business groups.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong experience in records management, ideally in a large, complex organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing records management support to the organization and collaborating with business controls and monitoring, data office, and enterprise records management policy and governance
- Developing and implementing record management capabilities across the organization (enterprise solutions and CIB solutions)
- Supporting queries arising from the organization's business and projects implementing the Records Management Policy
- Maintaining records management procedures and guidelines for the organization to support the Group Records Management Policy
- Presenting at regular forums to communicate and promote the importance of records management requirements

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need strong experience in records management, ideally in a large, complex organization. You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
Key qualifications include:
- A tertiary level qualification in a related discipline would be advantageous
- Experience working with records management governance frameworks, strategies, policies, guidelines, and systems in collaboration with key stakeholders and awareness of records management standards and legislation
