Cheese Connoisseur

This full-time position is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual to showcase their cheese expertise in our stores.

• Display and sell an extensive range of local and international cheeses, emphasizing Tasmania's finest varieties.
• Create visually appealing displays to encourage customers to sample and learn about different cheese types.
• Maintain display freshness by regularly replenishing stocks and ensuring products are always available for sale.
• Cut, wrap, and price cheeses efficiently for optimal sales performance.

• Prior experience working with cheese is highly advantageous.
• A friendly attitude and strong communication skills to provide exceptional customer service.
• Energy, initiative, and a positive mindset, combined with a passion for working with food and people.
• The ability to follow established procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety.
• Adequate availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend, with flexibility to accommodate personal needs.
• Physical fitness for lifting and standing throughout the workday.
