About the Team

The Executive Manager will be responsible for driving transformational change to enhance the research culture, productivity, and connectedness of UTS research activities.

This role has responsibility for the University's research strategy and policies, research concentrations, higher degree by research education, research risks (including ethics, integrity, trade controls and, international business assurance), industry engagement in research, knowledge exchange, research translation, intellectual property and commercialisation, and professional development for researchers and research support staff.

About the Role

- Oversee the communication of the ecosystem and strategy, ensuring maximum buy-in and engagement across the university
- Plan and roll out programs of work on an annual basis, mobilising stakeholders, partners, systems, and institutional supports with periodic evaluation and reporting on progress
- Provide executive support and coordination to strategic projects as determined by the DVCR

You will operate with a flexible, outcomes-oriented attitude and be highly analytical in your decision making.

You will also have;
- Completion of a relevant postgraduate tertiary qualification (PhD or Masters) with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- High level stakeholder engagement and networking, with the proven ability to bring together collective activity at scale
- Experience in developing and delivering professional development workshops, courses, and similar training activities for researchers and professional staff
