Maritime Logistics Chef

About the RoleAs a Chef Submariner, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking meals for a crew of 60. You will work closely with a tight-knit team to ensure that every meal is a success. Whether you have a trade, are an apprentice, or have no experience at all, you will be paid from day one and have the opportunity to gain all the skills needed with extensive on-the-job trade training.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare menus for the crew
- Cook and bake a variety of dishes, desserts, and condiments
- Prepare, cook, and serve food
- Cook with exotic ingredients from overseas locations
- Compile and calculate food orders to meet menu requirements
- Manage the submarine's food budget
- Operate kitchen equipment
- Clean the kitchen
- Maintain food health and safety standards
