Billing Specialist Role

A highly sought-after position exists for a skilled Billing Specialist to collaborate with the defence Prime contractor and In Service Support Business Performance (ISSBP) team.

The primary objective of the role will be preparing claims and organizing source documentation to substantiate claims for payment from customers. Collaboration with the delivery team will ensure timely and efficient billing/claims process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding billing mechanisms under various contracts within ISS Business Unit (BU)
• Capturing all costs prior to billing
• Identifying issues preventing invoicing or customer disputes
• Engaging stakeholders to resolve billing-related queries
• Preparing and processing billing claims and contract deliverables in a timely manner

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience in project cost reconciliation, claims preparation, and billing
• Intermediate+ competency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and billing worksheet preparation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong people skills and ability to work in a team
• Construction safety induction (white card)

Desirable qualifications include:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
