About the Role

The Cybersecurity Vulnerability Remediation Professional will work with customers to coordinate, conduct, and tune network and system vulnerability scans. This includes pre-production and production environments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of security threats.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting assessment and scanning results, reducing false positives and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

You will learn and adapt to client culture, security strategies, goals, objectives, and capabilities. Your role will involve identifying client posture against emerging and zero-day threats, maintaining knowledge of outstanding vulnerability management issues, and communicating updates to clients as necessary.

Presenting Vulnerability Assessment Scanning guidance, False Positive Validation, Compliance Scanning, and scan profile creation are key responsibilities. You will provide system administrators, owners, and IT staff with effective mitigation strategies, meaningful metrics, security controls, and corrective actions for technical and business risk mitigation.

Develop and report enterprise-level metrics for vulnerabilities and remediation progress. Understand, demonstrate, and educate stakeholders on the real-world impact of threats and vulnerability exploitation in a given environment.

Manage multiple customer requests, assessments, and meet customer expectations within established service levels.
