About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills to fill the position of Demand Planner.
The successful Demand Planner will be responsible for developing high quality forecasts by utilizing best-practice processes and sound business knowledge.
- Develop accurate forecasts that meet the needs of the organization
- Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing sources of error and implementing solutions
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to improve the quality and interpretation of input used in demand forecasting
Main Responsibilities:
- Forecast Development: Develop high-quality forecasts that meet organizational needs, incorporating best practices and business acumen
- Error Analysis and Solution Implementation: Analyze sources of forecast error and implement solutions to improve accuracy
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration across functions to enhance input quality and interpretation
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in the FMCG industry
- High level of detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical approach to problem solving incorporating business acumen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting multiple deadlines
- ERP/MRP skills, particularly with Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP APO knowledge beneficial but not mandatory
