About the Role
At SeaLink K'gari, we're seeking a dedicated individual to join our housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Attendant.
This role is an integral part of maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest accommodation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in our eco-friendly resort on Fraser Island.
The successful candidate will work across a 7-day rostering system, with opportunities for both 'live on' and 'live off' positions available.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas.
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.
- Adhere to strict safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.
- Handle and report lost and found items according to resort policies.
- Assist guests with requests and inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient room turnovers and cleaning of public areas.
- Promptly report maintenance issues and damages for resolution.
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
