In this role, you will engage with key stakeholders to gather their needs, assess requirements, and collaborate with system architects to guide architectural decisions.
As an integral part of a specialized team, you will conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops to gain a deep understanding of both the existing and desired states of the switch systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough business analysis to clearly define business needs and solution specifications.
- Manage the backlog and ensure it aligns with the overall strategic roadmap and business goals.
- Assist the Product Owner in defining business value and expected outcomes.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and foster alignment on business needs and solutions.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Financial Products, processes, and systems.
- Familiarity with Card Acquiring and Issuing (not mandatory).
- Experience in analyzing and defining functional and non-functional requirements for products such as wallets, ATMs, POS, e-commerce applications, and digital payment solutions.
- Experience with switch technologies such as Connex and Omnipay, Pega (disputes), Cybersource, eftpos.
- Knowledge of Schemes such as Visa, MasterCard, or eftpos.
- Ability to collaborate closely with key stakeholders and build effective partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills and a commitment to evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience with transaction processing standards like AS2805, ISO8583.
- Background in e-commerce applications, ATMs, POS, and digital payment systems.
- Educational background with a Degree in Business, preferably with postgraduate qualifications.
