About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Classroom Teacher to join our supportive team at St Philomena's Catholic Primary School in Bathurst, NSW. The ideal candidate will be someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student.
Key Responsibilities
• Create a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
• Develop and implement quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
• Use inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
• Analyse student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
• Collaborate with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.
• Provide student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.
About You
The successful candidate will be someone who holds relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW. They will also have the capacity to monitor and assess student learning data and to use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning. Additionally, they will demonstrate a commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities and a capacity to reflect on, evaluate and improve professional knowledge and practice in a professional learning team.
