As a key member of an interprofessional public health team, you will apply your expertise to complex environmental health matters, driving service improvement and workforce development initiatives.
- Administer and interpret relevant public health legislation, policies, and standards to protect community health.
- Lead investigations into complex environmental health and public health issues, providing expert advice, supervision, and training to colleagues.
- Drive quality improvement and evidence-based practice across the Environmental Health team.
About You:
We seek a motivated and knowledgeable professional with a passion for safeguarding community health. Key requirements include:
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Health from a reputable institution, demonstrating expertise in environmental health legislation and practice.
- High-level knowledge and experience in delivering complex environmental health services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams, industry, and the community.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and support less experienced staff while leading service improvement initiatives.
