About the Role:
The State Government of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in regional Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
- Monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community to support student learning, agency, wellbeing, and engagement.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school.
- Undertake other classroom teaching-related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
Requirements:
- Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Qualifications to teach and/or demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities.
