We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Jackson School, a leading institution in Special Education. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in coordinating the provision of Occupational Therapy Services, working collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to support students with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a range of interventions to increase student participation in school programs, including prescription of assistive technology and sensory programs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans for students.
- Provide expert knowledge and experience in providing Occupational Therapy Services, including assessment, planning, and implementation of interventions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Occupational Therapy Services.
- Demonstrated knowledge, ability, and experience in coordinating the provision of Occupational Therapy Services in Special Education.
- Expert knowledge and experience in providing a range of interventions to increase student participation in school programs.
- A knowledge of the use and application of a wide range of interventions to assist children with intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with families, carers, guardians, staff, and other professionals.
- Interview process and referee checks.
