The Opportunity

As an Operations Supervisor in Cleanaway, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the curbside collection fleet to ensure all KPIs are achieved.

  • Coordinate and schedule the curbside collection fleet to ensure all KPIs are achieved
  • Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
  • Ensure all pre-start, post-run, and minor day to day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
  • Lead by example - be a people person, create a good solid work and team culture
  • Drive operational efficiencies within the team, continual review and improvement of site
  • Manage and prepare detailed reports this includes toolbox meetings
  • Lead performance management investigations and outcome

About You

You will ideally have a landfill or waste background with HR Licence which would be advantageous.

  • Be approachable, have good people skills
  • Ideally have 2-3yrs minimum experience in a supervisory role
  • Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
  • Experience within the transport / waste / logistics and or recycling industries desirable
  • Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and ability to work independently
  • Microsoft suite experience essential
