Program Supervisor Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Supervisor to lead our Social Support programs. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to support staff, ensuring safe, high-quality support for participants.
Job Description:
- Lead and mentor staff to deliver engaging and high-quality social programs for older adults
- Guide and inspire the team to meet client goals and interests
- Ensure services are provided in a safe environment, responsive to community needs
- Comply with relevant legislation and current best practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff to work in the programs
- Provision of programs that are interesting, innovative, meet clients' goals, and encourage social connection
- Participate in planning with the leadership team to manage the program, develop staff skills, meet program targets, and increase the program's profile
- Ensure all documentation relating to client care is current and accurate
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualifications in an aged care related field with at least two years of experience
- A commitment to our values and philosophy, and ability to engage in the enhancement of our culture in meeting organisational objectives
- Demonstrated experience and ability in supporting staff to deliver engaging and high-quality social programs for older adults
