Strategic Coordinator for Water and Sewer Infrastructure

Role Overview

Singleton Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Coordinator for Water and Sewer Infrastructure to join our team. As a key member of our Water and Sewer team, you will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the delivery of Council's medium to long-term strategic objectives for water and sewer infrastructure. This includes coordinating asset management, development engineering, liquid trade waste, compliance, and water education projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement projects identified in Council's Integrated Water Cycle Management Plan
  • Contribute to the development of revised Asset Management and Development Servicing Plans
  • Participate in Council's involvement in state-significant projects such as the Singleton Bypass and Lostock to Glennies Creek Pipeline
  • Lead, coach, and support staff and contractors to achieve work targets and objectives effectively and efficiently
  • Identify and contribute to process improvement at an operational and strategic level
  • Produce meaningful, business-focused reports for sound decision making

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and extensive experience in strategy and compliance as it relates to Water and Sewer
  • Substantial experience and demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support staff and contractors
  • Demonstrated substantial ability to identify and contribute to process improvement at an operational and strategic level
  • Proven ability to identify, collect, and analyze information and produce meaningful, business-focused reports for sound decision making
