Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Manager to join our team in Victoria. As a key member of the Victorian Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in growing and managing our Geotechnical business.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil/geotechnical engineering, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to balance commercial and technical outcomes for our clients. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, providing geotechnical advice, preparing quotes and tenders, undertaking investigations and assessments, and supervising team members.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior professional to take on a leadership role and drive growth in our Geotechnical business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of a growing Geotechnical team
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Provide geotechnical advice to internal and external clients
- Preparation of quotes and tenders
- Undertake geotechnical investigations and assessments
- Supervising, mentoring and peer reviewing the technical work of other team members

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in civil/geotechnical engineering or related discipline
- Proven skills in building and maintaining client relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong report writing ability
- Flexibility to work either in the office, out on site or interstate
- Experience with geotechnical software packages is highly regarded
